Environmental Health Services

Protection of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Fulton County is the goal of the Fulton County Health Department. The Division of Environmental Health is responsible for the Food Sanitation, Private, Semi-Private, and Non-community Public Water Sup-plies, Private Sewage Disposal, Solid Waste, Tanning Facilities, Nuisance, Vector, Mobile Home Parks, and Bed and Breakfast Pro-grams. Food Permits/Sanitation...Ext. 230 Food/drink permits, temporary food permits, and annual inspections
Food Sanitation Classes...Ext. 230 5 hour refresher course.

Garbage Nuisance...Ext. 230 Documentation and investigation of nuisance.

Recycling...Ext. 230 Electronics including TVs up to 25" and Unused Medications (no needles). Drop off days are restricted, call ahead.

Septic Permit...Ext. 230 Septic Permit Application & Inspections for permit
Tanning Facility and Body Art Inspection...Ext. 230 Annual inspection for state license. Eligibility: Public. No Fee.

Well Testing and Permit...Ext. 230 Water test kits/ Well permit applications and inspections/ well evaluations.
